Tado Extension Kit Not Firing Boiler. hi, ive been running the old v1 tado for years without issue, recently the thermostat started playing up so i bought the newer smart thermostat starter. As i said that's all connected and seems fine in the app but. if you would like to connect your tado° wireless receiver/extension kit to your boiler on your own, please do the following. so got my new thermostat and extension kit today and all has been installed (old thermostat was wireless and kept existing. Everything is connected in the app and looks to be functioning. hi guys, i’ve just installed a tado thermostat and extension kit. this would effectively make the smart thermostat wireless ( as it has it's own internal battery) and send the signal for demand from the. if so, it should be telling the extension kit to switch on the heating, and therefore you should hear a click from the extension kit. i've installed the new tado wireless extension kit.
